Familiarity with PAN OS, JunOS and Cisco IOS operating systems required. Good understanding of and have experience with most of the following network Security technologies: Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Load Balancers, DDoS Mitigation solutions, VPN (Virtual Private Network) Gateways, Compliance Tools. Good understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS and SNMP.

Skills: To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:The candidate should have a solid foundation in network Security including firewalls, DDOS mitigation, routing, switching, VPNS and load balancing.

Solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network Security technologies:

Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Load Balancers, DDoS Mitigation solutions, VPN (Virtual Private Network) Gateways, Compliance Tools.

Strong Coordination & Troubleshooting skills in handling Complex Network & Security Incidents & escalations.

Experience in MS Azure.

Good understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS and SNMP.

Deep, hands-on experience with TCP/IP (common packet headers, protocol innerworkings) Familiarity with PAN OS, JunOS and Cisco IOS operating systems required.

Good understanding of Linux Experience with Network Automation languages and tools such as Ansible and Python is a plus. Cisco ASA knowledge and experience strongly desired. In depth knowledge of troubleshooting and monitoring tools like tcpdump & Wireshark required Ability to partner with peers who are globally distributed is a key part of this role. Strong communication skills and empathy for customers. Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.

Duties: Position Overview:As a Staff Network Security Engineer on the Cloud Networking team, you will be responsible for managing, and operating the global network security infrastructure. Staff Network Security Engineer will be an integral part of the Network Security team and closely partner with Network Engineering and Security teams.

The role will require a deep technical understanding of Network security and the ability to understand client Cloud architecture and implementations to improve Network security. This position will mainly participate in the network security environment and the Vulnerability remediation and troubleshooting, including reviewing scan results, risk analysis and calculations to identify true risk within the network environment, influence remediation and reporting around vulnerabilities

Primary roles and responsibilities are as follows:Monitors, tracks, responds, investigates, and reports in compliance to security requirements, and works with the responsible parties in Network Engineering and Security teams to drive timely results and remediation Partnering with stakeholders to drive down vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain Firewalls, DDOS attack protection tools. Develop and maintain internal and customer VPNs. Participate in Network related Audits. Review, consult and prepare for planned change introduction to Network Security environment. Partner with teams to plan and execute software code upgrades and device maintenance.
