- Recruit, Coach and Develop Software and Data Platform Engineers (a.k.a Foundation Builders)
- Embrace and execute the Next-Generation Platforms vision
- Closely work with Architects and Engineering Leaders to advocate platform first culture, evangelize, and champion platform as product mindset
- Operate in highly autonomous environment with accountability and drive to execute on the problems of highest leverage
- Closely collaborate with Infrastructure, Application Engineering and Product Management groups to sustainable platform software deliveries that will enable platform and product engineering
- Encourage a healthy, collaborative and engaging team culture demonstrating values through mentorship, performance management including 1:1’s, and measurable objectives
- 3+ years of Engineering Management experience
- 10+ years of overall Engineering experience preferably in SaaS or PaaS space
- Hands-on Experience with domain driven event driven distributed systems involving some of tech stack such as Java, Python, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc
- Experience with managing and operating on agile Software Delivery lifecycle
- Experience with building on AWS
- Work well cross-functionally and be able to think out of the box, communicate effectively and make tough decisions.
