This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, assist to identify requirements and facilitate implementation, while following appropriate change control and release processes.
Primary Responsibilities:- Facilitate the implementation of current and future products that require knowledge of the technologies and capabilities of the platform
- Collaborate with Automation team and assist with streamline Solution Orchestration and Configuration
- Assists with coordinating changes across multiple systems
- Contributes to policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs capacity workload modeling and availability analysis for a variety of platforms and environments.
- Recommends changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
- Participates in the creation and maintenance of metrics around the system and institutes a process for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain engineering process documentation standards / templates.
- 3+ years with Linux/Windows environments
- 3+ years with VMware environments
- 2+ years with Python, Powershell, JSON, YAML, etc.
- 2+ years Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- 2+ years with Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible, etc)
- Understanding of Systems/Service Monitoring
- Working knowledge of Version Control Tools
