Our client, a leading Medical Device company is looking for a

Software Quality Engineer – 3. This is for an initial duration of 12 months in San Diego CA

Job Responsibilities:
  • As Senior Engineer, Quality Engineering is to lead the team and Works independently and develop test strategy, test plan, Test case design, and support software testing as assigned.
  • Must have Strong Data base backend testing, hands on complex queries and testing SSIS package
  • Provide independent verification of software products that have been developed according to pre-approved software design requirements and specifications.
  • Plans and implements the setup of test environments to perform functional testing of integrated software components
  • Contributes to project schedule generation including scope of work, duration of tasks, and order of execution.
  • Ability to apply and use software quality tools for test case management, test automation, and defect tracking management.
  • Develops quality assurance standards.
  • Knowledge of software quality engineering and testing methods at all levels (unit, integration, system, V&V, acceptance) applied within the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Visual studio and Azure Devops Tool is required
  • Hands-on experience in UI, functional testing, Workflow, and use case testing.
  • Hands on experience in functional automation using tools like Selenium, Coded UI etc is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in software testing
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Data base (SQL Server) knowledge
  • Experience programming in C preferred.
  • Demonstrated positive work ethic with a strong commitment to achieving project goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience working in a regulated (FDA) environment with medical instrumentation is a plus.
  • Experience with the Agile/Scrum process.
