ServiceNow is building a strong technical presence for Application Security. The Application Security team needs a multi-talented manager who can support the security testing function at ServiceNow. Skills needed include managing a diverse team of engineers, international experience, security testing expertise, and working with internal customers. • Technical manager and leader who can both manage a team and lead successful testing of global product releases.
• Drive a team of directs reports, including career growth, training, optimization of practices, and technical delivery.
• Understand common software development methodologies including testing practices, source control, and code branch maintenance.
• Code auditing experience especially related to secure coding best practices.
• Ability to hire and retain the best security engineers.
• Can focus and execute under time driven constraints for global product releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• BA/BS degree in a software related area. Master’s degree a plus!
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Tomcat, Restful Web services.
• Understanding of relational and time series database technologies.
• Comfort working with Linux and Windows environments.
• Driven testing and development process definition, documentation, and optimization.
• Working experience on REST and SOAP API solutions.
• Security tool experience including SAST, DAST and SCA tool reports.
• Experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
