World Wide Technology has an opportunity for a Senior Tester - Cyber/Data Center/CSTI to join our Government Services Public Sector Team supporting an extremely large Navy program. WWT is providing support to program engineering and ensuring thorough testing and error-free transition of services to production. The focus is on maintaining an agile environment which can be quickly configured to represent specified environments for testing purposes and restored to known baseline. Members of the Service Validation and Test (SVT) team are responsible for Verification and Validation (V&V) processes relating to functional testing of all technologies and solutions supporting the Navy Enterprise Network (NEN). Our Testers work collaboratively with critical stakeholders focusing on schedules, validation, and approval of Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports which incorporate the execution of test events with Government oversight. Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage all activities and all testers as well as personally execute Cyber/Data Center/CSTI testing, during each testing phase of a project or program.
- Co-operate with clients/users and senior staff as required analyze testing options and agree on the testing strategy for projects.
- Identify potential improvements to the process and assist in implementation.
- Ensure that associated risks with the test strategy and system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues.
- Manage all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action when any risks become unacceptable.
- Escalate risks and issues to leadership as required.
- Train and mentor SVT testers.
- Fulfill the role of Testing Co-coordinator for development projects.
- Plan, arrange, and attend meetings, and maintain relationships with client/user staff during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.
- Plan, oversee, and/or conduct the planning and execution of the system and acceptance tests.
- Contribute to the creation and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
- Knowledge in Network and Security, or Enterprise Solutions (Active Directory, VMware, Azure).
- Responsible for the timely creation and execution of Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports which require Government approval.
- Identify and approve any discrepancies in test plans or procedures based on dry runs and submit changes to the Government for approval.
- Ensures team members effectively communicate and collaborate with the customer throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Responsible for the execution and completion of all tests within a specified functional area.
- Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies in your functional area and beyond.
- Suggest areas of improvement and opportunities for increased utilization of automation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Ten (10) years minimum of IT experience.
- Experience in functional testing, non-functional testing, and automated testing.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Possessing an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II and/or Security + certification is a benefit.
- Scripting experience desired.
- Background in troubleshooting technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of: Networking, Security, and/or General Systems and Applications and Enterprise Solutions.
