Carlsbad restaurant seeking to add a skilled chef

We are a high volume Italian restaurant with a heavy focus on scratch cooking and providing an exceptional guest experience. We make almost all of our products in house and source very little, the restaurant is exceptionally busy and has held its own for over two decades.

At the moment our needs are ideally somebody who has put in their time in a sous chef position and is ready for a CDC position.

The exemplary candidate should show strong organizational skills, efficiency in time management, ability to delegate well and thoughtfully, strong understanding of cooking, (YOU WILL WORK THE LINE), coaching of staff, foster a sense of leadership in which you are able to grow our staff, ability to walk into a machine that is already working and be able to adapt. Bilingual, english/spanish is a huge plus.

A minimum of 3 years in a role of leadership is non negotiable.

You would report directly to the Executive Chef, room for growth is inevitable for the right candidate.
