Now hiring part-time Cook! Our La Vida Real Senior Living Community located in the Rancho San Diego neighborhood of El Cajon, CA is a
great setting if you enjoy working with seniors. Part timeÂposition available. Includes all weekends!
You will prepare meals for residents according to the Community's specifications. Crisp linen tablecloths, fine china and
top-quality fresh ingredients; this is made-to-order dining at its finest. Seasonal and regional menus are ever-evolving, offering signature dishes and daily specials. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.
Essential Duties:
Part-time morning shiftÂor part-time afternoon/evening
shiftÂfor week days and includes all weekends.Position reports to the Executive Chef.Prepare meals for
residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in
compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
Assist in the production of all menu items.
Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.
Qualifications:
One year of related experience or training. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in cooking in a resort, country club or senior living community highly desired. All of our job offers are contingent
upon the successful passing of a background check with fingerprinting, a drug test and a physical.
