We prepare breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, toasts, oats, smoothies/shakes, acai bowls, etc all of which are highly customizable. We operate a cafe and drive thru so are looking for someone who can prep and execute our menu with a high level of precision, quickly.
We are also looking for someone with the potential to develop and partner with us on menu development into expanded dayparts and flavor creation, food operations, training and potentially multi-unit support. This is a gateway job to potentially significantly more for the right candidate.
Prep responsibilities include making syrups, slicing meat, prepping fruits and vegetables, pre-prepping smoothies, acai, overnight oats, etc.
Gladly Coffee is an emerging coffee concept in the San Diego Market. Built by former baristas who get it, at its core is a desire to deliver great high quality boutique products in the cup and on the plate to our community alongside genuine, real customer care. We are a coffeebar with cafe and Drive Thru. We are a community meeting place. We have a burgeoning art and music scene.
You: smart, fast, experienced as a line cook, cafe cook or other relevant food background. You are genuine, taking care of people gets you up in the morning are looking for something for a couple of years or career. A great smile. We have a great team and are looking for someone to come make us better!
The coffee/food scene is changing and there are incredible opportunities to career in coffee/food especially joining us now as we build out this amazing people and flavor focused concept.
