Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Dental Front Office Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience handling dental insurance claims, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the practice

Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage patient inquiries

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the schedule for efficiency

Verify dental insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility before appointments

Submit and process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up

Handle insurance-related questions and explain coverage details to patients

Prepare and present patient financial estimates based on treatment plans and insurance coverage

Collect and record payments, handle billing, and track patient balances

Assist with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth patient experience

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Work closely with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred

In-depth knowledge of dental insurance plans, terminology, and claim submission processes (required)

Proficiency with dental practice management software

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insurance coverage and payment options clearly

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment

Professional, patient-focused, and empathetic demeanor

Bilingual Spanish(preferred but not required)
