Patient oriented Optician wanted for a long-term and full time position in a private Optometry office. We are a team-based environment and are looking for a kind, reliable, and easy-going person to join our team! Compensation based on experience, $20+/hour. Training available for entry level.
Medical/Dental benefits available. All employees receive free vision exams and one pair of free glasses every year. Our hours are Monday through Saturday and we are closed on Sundays.
Job duties:
- Assisting patients and doctor
- Insurance processing/billing/explanation of benefits to patients
- Answering phones/booking appointments
- Dispensing eyewear and contacts
- Optician sales of contacts and eyeglasses
Knowledge of Officemate and Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
