REPUTABLE PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRM SEEKING FULL LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL
Busy downtown personal injury firm hiring multiple positions for legal assistants/paralegals. Willing to train the right candidate. Our firm handles personal injury cases for individuals across southern California and we are actively hiring and urgently looking to fill a position.
The ideal candidate with have the type of personality and people skills which allow them to engage and communicate with current and future clients in person, over the telephone and via email, with attention to detail. Additionally, we're looking for a team-player, someone who can get the job done and is open to learning/growing.
Responsibilities include:
-General filing
-Answering telephones; greeting clients upon arrival; and setting appointments
-Processing of mail, incoming legal documents
-Data entry
-Negotiation with providers
-Ordering Bills & Medical records
-Clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, document organization, mailing, bates stamping, etc.
-Electronic filing of documents with court
Required Qualifications:
Team player attitude
Adequate Transportation
High School Diploma
Paralegal certificate not required but preferred for paralegal position
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Fast and accurate typing with excellent proofreading skills
