The Coopersmith Law Firm, an AV-Rated boutique business litigation firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal. This job requires a highly-motivated, thoughtful, self-starter with good judgment who can handle responsibility and time pressure.
The position includes: preparation of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery and correspondence; reviewing documents and analyzing issues for attorney input and further review; review of court rules and application of rules to case issues; analysis of discovery and witness matters; calendaring all matters and ensuring all calendaring is accurate and modified as necessary; filing with court (federal and state) and communicating with court clerks; managing cloud-based firm filing system; communicating with clients and with opposing counsel's office regarding case matters; assisting attorneys with preparation for depositions, document review, and other discovery and case matters.

The individual we are looking for to fill this newly opened position is interested in constantly learning and tackling new challenges. Requirements include: (1) certificated paralegal; (2) experience as a litigation paralegal of at least 3+ years; (3) excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; (4) good judgment and decision making skills; and (4) attention to detail and organization.
