We are seeking a Designer/Architectural draftsman with a strong background in accessory dwelling unit projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in drafting software, and capable of producing high-quality drawings that meet all relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed design drawings and plans for residential additions and ADUs.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.

Review and interpret project specifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.

Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including permit applications and construction documents.

Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings.

Qualifications:

Designer with experience in architectural drafting, preferred but not required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.

Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the California Building Code (CBC).
