About the Role

This position is for a Manufacturing Engineer, working on-site at our client's in-house manufacturing plant in San Diego.

This person will be responsible for overseeing process development, process characterization, process validation, equipment design, inspection and test development, and risk and production documentation.

They will be driving process improvement projects and resolving manufacturing issues, working cross-functionally to complete activities involving Failure Mode & Effects Analysis and process control.

Job Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field
At least 3 years of engineering experience
Hands-on industry experience with medical device manufacturing and/or production
Knowledge of Process Validations in the medical device manufacturing environment
Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820
Experience preparing and reading technical documentation
Experience with CAD tooling/fixture design
