Volt Workforce Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Production Associate 1 for one of our clients in Carlsbad, CA. This would be a 1st shift position, M-F from 6am-2:30pm.Job SummaryThe Production Associate 1 is responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. This position works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities? Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.? Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.? Other duties may be assigned as required.Education and Experience Requirements? Requires some production experience.? Simple oral communication skills, visual acuity and manual dexterity.? Successful completion of company?s on-the-job training or probationary program.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsManufacturing environment.
