We are a precision CNC Machine Shop looking for a motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Driver to join our team. This is an entry -level role with opportunities to learn and grow in the Shipping & Receiving Department.
Responsibilities:
Follow verbal and written instructions. Compares information, counts, weights, and measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information provided on the bill of lading, invoices, orders and other records. Determines method of shipping, affixes shipping labels, assembles wooden or carboard containers or pallets, inters items into containers, unpacks and examines incoming and outgoing shipments, monitors inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates forklifts and uses hand truck to move material and items shipped or received. Drives truck to deliver and pick up.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the responsibilities above.
A valid Driver's License
Clean driving record.
Clean background check
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals.
Basic math skills
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly .
Comfortable standing, walking and bending.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn and reliable attendance are a must.
