Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers, a successful, upscale jewelry store serving San Diego County for over 42 years, is seeking to hire an Estate Jewelry Buyer / Jewelry Appraiser for our Old Town location immediately.
If you have 2+ years of experience working in a high end jewelry store or are a Graduate Gemologist, we may have a position for you.
The ideal candidate has experience in:
Identifying, evaluating, grading and appraising of jewelry, diamonds, and precious metals using standard gemological testing processes, equipment, and grading scales
Authenticating designer jewelry and/or watches
Negotiating
Customer Service
Client Relations
The candidate will also demonstrate these qualities:
Reliable, Dependable, Energetic
Precise, thorough and Self-motivated
Outstanding Communication Skills, and doesn’t mind working with the public
Able to handle high volume
Computer literate
A background check is required.
