Duties & Responsibilities:
- Windows and Linux Servers migration to the cloud (Microsoft and Amazon)
- Deploy and configure servers, workstations (Windows & Mac), networks and virtual environments
- Interact with customers in an effective and professional manner
- Project Scoping and vender coordination
- Project planning and scheduling
- Project communication to team, points of contact, and end users
- Document daily work through ticketing system and knowledge base
- Project and support documentation creation into the knowledge base
- First day of support for solution implementations
- Ensure successful project handoffs to primary support team and clients
Experience Necessary:
- 5+ years of experience in the IT field
- 4+ years working with multiple client environments in network and System support
- 2+ years Project delivery and management
- Windows Server operating system all
- Virtualization (VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-v)
+ Setup, Clustering, or upgrading existing systems
- Cloud Infrastructure Setup and migrations (Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS)
- Active Directory Domain Services
- Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016
- MS office 365 migrations
- Solid knowledge of network protocols and fundamentals
- Experience in firewall and VPN installation and Security configurations
+ Experience working with Cisco Meraki, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and SonicWALL is desirable
- Experience in effectively communicating and presenting technical concepts to management, peer group and staff
- Professional written and verbal communications skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
