Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal DevSecOps System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will be maintaining DevSecOps infrastructure, managing user accounts, and providing network support. Essential Functions:- Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products, specifically geared towards DevSecOps toolsets.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years relevant experience, or a Master's with 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with virtualization (i.e., VMware),Windows, and Linux administration
- Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite and administration (i.e., Crowd, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
- Experience with maintenance and uptime of private cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with VMware product line (i.e., Horizon, vCenter, etc.)
- Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
