Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal DevSecOps System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will be maintaining DevSecOps infrastructure, managing user accounts, and providing network support. Essential Functions:
  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products, specifically geared towards DevSecOps toolsets.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years relevant experience, or a Master's with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with virtualization (i.e., VMware),Windows, and Linux administration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite and administration (i.e., Crowd, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience with maintenance and uptime of private cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with VMware product line (i.e., Horizon, vCenter, etc.)
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
  • Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
