Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the facility’s Hazardous Waste disposal and storage.

Assist in the proper shipment of Hazardous Goods.

o Understanding of DOT and IATA shipping regulations is preferred.

Provide support for Hydrolysis, Filter cleaning, and Trace cleaning.

Maintain and ensure chemical safety data sheets are compliant with current regulations.

Manage internal chemical inventory.

Provide support for Rasirc Analytical Services which includes running TOC tests on Rasirc products and analytical samples from customers.

Provide support for running tests on other products concerning other contamination, such as moisture.

Provide laboratory facility safety support.

Requirements:

Gas chromatography experience required.

Experience with wet chemical methods.

Understanding of basic lab safety procedures.

Experience with data collection and manufacturing documentation associated with ISO 9001.

Competent writing skills for scientific report writing.

Experience with hazardous materials handling and disposal.

Must be capable of developing expertise in chemical system design and modification.

Good mechanical skills are required to perform experiments and instrument maintenance.

Knowledge of temperature and pressure control.

Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry with 2-5 years in Gas Chromatography or AA degree with minimum 5 years experience in Gas Chromatography.
