Work you'll do
  • This position involves working with wide or large-scale information systems.
  • Provide architecture analysis and recommendations to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance to be considered
  • Bachelor's degree required in either Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • At least five (5) years' experience in cloud engineering
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in cloud services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions and Azure.
  • Experience in developing infrastructure as code using scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, and CI/CD orchestration automating most tasks to aid adoption at scale all the while maintaining consistency.
  • Experience with working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux server systems in the Cloud.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,000 to $155,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
