Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pool Designer who can also sell — a motivated, creative professional who understands both design and construction. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing and selling complete outdoor living projects, not just pools, including:
Hardscape (pavers, patios, walkways, driveways)
Softscape (plants, turf, lighting, irrigation)
Outdoor structures (patio covers, pergolas, BBQs, fire features, walls, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
· Meet with clients to understand their vision and budget
· Create pool and outdoor living designs (conceptual and/or construction-level plans)
· Present designs and proposals to clients to close sales
· Collaborate with operations and construction teams to ensure design intent is achieved
· Maintain detailed project notes, material selections, and estimates
· Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and sales process
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in pool design and sales
· Experience with outdoor living design (pavers, landscape, lighting, structures) preferred
· Strong design skills — proficiency in design software
· Construction knowledge and understanding of grading, drainage, and materials
· Excellent communication and sales skills
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Compensation:
Commission-based structure
