Position Overview
Avoya Travel is currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is excited about creating great web interfaces and experiences and researching and implementing cutting edge front-end web technologies. You’re proficient in working on modern front-end frameworks to build universal applications and are passionate about optimization and test-driven development. You will be planning, building and helping to lead the development of our various properties which are consumer, agency and travel supplier facing and include both web based and native apps. We’re looking for a leader, someone who can get excited for our vision of creating the #1 vacation platform and help us build on it and bring it to fruition from planning to implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing…
- Help steer tech innovation and be an advocate for development best practices and application optimization
- Bring products to fruition from planning to implementation
- Foster the skills of other developers on the front-end team
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to get APIs developed as needed
Sound Like A Good Fit? What It Takes To Be Successful…
- 3-5 years minimum experience as a front-end developer
- A deep understanding of JS and proficient in ES6
- Can demonstrate ability to build universal applications using a modern JS framework
- Experience with Nuxt.js a plus
- Well versed in CSS and responsive CSS frameworks
- Experience with Tailwind a plus
- Proficiency in version control and build processes
- Experience with Docker a plus
