Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Position Description CGI is seeking a Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to join our team!You will provide in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance / Supply Chain application, bringing subject matter expertise in either accounting, manufacturing, operations and/or supply chain management. If outside of the proximity of San Diego, CA or Lafayette, LA - the role can be performed REMOTELY!Your future duties and responsibilities• Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business processes that need to be incorporated into ERP solutions• Work with the client to understand legacy data components and identify whether and how to migrate that data to the new system.• Familiarity with best practices for managing business processes and transacting in ERP systems across a broad array of industries• Identify and present to clients sound solutions for addressing business processes that aren't fully accomplished by core functionality in ERP systems• Configure ERP application as required to conform to business process requirements• Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone or site visitsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role• 5+ years of significant industry experience within accounting, manufacturing, operations or supply chain management• 5+ years of Microsoft ERP implementation experience, preferably D365 Finance/Supply Chain• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 Finance/Supply Chain highly desirable• Experience with associated tools and technologies such as SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform are highly desirable• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills• Proven demonstration and presentation skillsEst.
