DescriptionRobert Half Technology is looking for an NLP Developer to join our client's Data Science team in San Dimas, CA. You will be tasked to utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets, then use this information to develop data-driven solutions. Leveraging NLP experience, along with experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will be the subject matter expert for NLP/Machine Learning/AI, and will partner with functional experts to expand the NLP Project to provide big data solutions in other key operational areas.Responsibilities/Duties Include:Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; continuously improve automating index process solution for Medical Records team and NLP-indexed medical records to ProvidersDesign and develop NLP Project applications through collaboration of user design specifications, user stories and Business Requirements Document (BRD)Consult with users, product marketing, and product management to determine software/system functionality and scope of technical specification document (TSD)Architect and design state-of-the-art solutions for large data setsProvide expert advice and consulting in maintenance and enhancement of existing code within high transaction volume / highly availability environmentRequirementsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in statistics, math, or computer science9 to 14 years of professional experienceDemonstrated experience in NLP, Machine Learning, and Artificial IntelligenceProficient in statistics and machine learning, coding language of Python, database data mining, and AIAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to switch between priorities quickly without affecting quality or performanceExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSuperior customer service skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to lead projects and development activities across product-linesKnowledgeable in service-oriented architectureRobert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
