- Python/SQL programming to create measurement analytical capabilities that support the movement of inventory.
- Role will develop, run and improve code that measures at scale the quality of analytics in use at the company for areas like demand forecasting.
- Use of methods from Operations Research, and Statistics
- Data Analysis: Compile and analyze data from different sources to check completeness and filtering criteria as needed for data science initiatives
- Data Cleansing: Develop/Edit SQL and Python scripts to pull and clean datasets
- Strong quantitative training in either of Operations Research or Statistics
- Substantial experience in data manipulation
- Operations/supply chain domain experience
- Business acumen and great communication
- Some experience with measurement a plus, such as A/B testing or back-testing
- 3+ years related professional experience
- Proven achievements resulting from data analysis
- Degree in operations research, industrial engineering, computer science, applied math, physics, economics, or other quantitative science (graduate degree a plus)
- Experience with languages used for querying (e.g. SQL/Hive), and statistical analysis (e.g. SAS/R/Matlab/python)
- Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
- Experience working with business partners to validate the output of analytical exercises
