Job Title: CAD Engineer

Location: Bay Area, CA

Duration: 6+ months

Relevant Experience

(in Yrs)4-6 in Years in Medical Device Industry

Technical/Functional Skills• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.• Knowledge in Experiment design and SPC• Management of statistical procedures.• Knowledge of computer programs.• Comprehension of standard costs and work standards.• Knowledge of productive processes.• Good oral and written communication in Spanish and English, preferably.• Experimental Engineering techniques, 80% English.

Experience Required• Experience in New Product Development for Medical Device Industry• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Developmental Design duties• Experience in Technical documentation, quality control, lay-out, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical or electrical equipment and/or components for Medical-Device

Roles & ResponsibilitiesUnder (e.g. limited supervision, general direction, etc.) and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: • Identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment related to new product development.• Performs material tests.• Studies the existing processes to implement improvements on new products.• Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.• Assists technicians and engineers about unusual problems. • Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirements.• Perform Process Development, Tool Development activities• Performs activities of process/product/ Equipment validation.• Can supervise, coordinate and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians. • Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures• Performs other duties assigned as needed
