You will be a part of our Client's AI/ML Technology organization which architects, implements, and manages the technology required to run a cloud-based Data Ocean and AI/ML Platform for the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about applying cloud technologies to solving business problems in a unique and innovative way and to help accelerate our digital business transformation. As part of the Platform Engineering team, you will be part of an established but growing team that is focused on secure design and delivery of solutions to enable machine learning at scale.We're open to candidates located outside the San Francisco Bay Area who want to work remotely; however, you will be expected to work Pacific Standard Time hours. About the Job
- Work with Product Management, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Engineering teams to find the optimal way to scale applications and the infrastructure
- Own end-to-end product performance of all AI/ML Platform applications and services
- Support architecture design assist in defining networking requirements and help code/debug to deliver high quality product releases
- Develop capacity studies to predict infrastructure growth projections in the areas of compute (CPU/memory), storage and network
- Perform load and stress analysis of end to end application performance on infrastructure, capacity planning of APIs and key services
- Construct complex workloads and data shapes to expose potential bottlenecks in the application or the infrastructure
- Be a thinker, help in finding performance bottlenecks, debug to get RCA and provide working solutions
- 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and benchmarking, capacity panning with in depth knowledge of identifying and debugging application/infrastructure performance problems on any cloud provider: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure
- 3 years' experience specifically with Google Cloud Platform.
- Coding & scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
- Software application performance tuning over a visualized system and infrastructure
- Debugging, Monitoring, Optimization of cloud platform infrastructure and services
- Strong background in system architectures, high-performance computing, and distributed systems and ability to identify potential limitations in software architectures
- Experience in tackling problems of load, scale, and optimizations of complex large-scale deployments
- Experience in SaaS, Microservice, Cloud Native software companies and projects
- Google or AWS Cloud Platform Experience
