An exciting BioTech start up in the Bay Area are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Learning Scientist with a focus on Signal Processing to help lead the development/ implementation of calibration and correction algorithms for the company's biosensor. The Machine Learning Scientist will design and build Algorithms that use methods to transform the fluorescent signals into a real-time monitoring data stream with high accuracy. The challenge they face is filtering out the noise from the signals so prior experience in this space is highly desirable.
The ML Scientist will sit within the Data Science function of the business but will collaborate with software, firmware and clinical teams.Key Qualifications/ Skills- Masters or PhD in Computational Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or related field
- 3+ years industry/ full time Machine Learning experience
- Strong understanding of statistics, analog and digital signal processing techniques applied to biological data
- Experience in pattern recognition, and machine learning with physiological signal processing
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, Numpy)
- Great Communication skills
