The candidate is expected to be able to provide technical guidance on problem identification, system design, implementation tradeoff and experimentation. Execution and Results (REQUIRED) Matching is a very technical team and we speak, live and breathe through results. The engineering candidate should share the passion, with a strong focus on generating efficiency. What the Candidate Will Do BS/BE degree in Computer Science or related fields. At minimum 3 years of engineering experience Strong problem solving and coding skills. Competitive programming experiences are highly preferred. Solid understanding and hands-on experiences with backend system development. An ideal candidate should possess the following technical skills: Design and development of large scale distributed systems Online predictions/recommendation/ranking through common statistical and machine learning modeling and/or operation research optimization. Java/Go/C/C REST APIs Relational and KV stores and relevant storage systems. Distributed Messaging / Kafka
