Description We are in search of a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in San Francisco, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing invoices, handling reimbursements and charges, and managing recurring monthly payables. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will contribute to our team's efficiency and success. Responsibilities: Efficient and meticulous processing of invoices Handling of reimbursement payments and charges Reconciliation of work orders against invoices and approved proposals Management of recurring monthly payables Execution of journal entries for QuickBooks/Intuit payroll taxes Calculation of Annual Security deposit interest credits & Rent Board fee charges to tenant ledgers and generation of letters for mailing Handling of SF Rent Board Housing Inventory uploads Completion of year-end filing Collaboration with the property management team to meet local and state government requirements Tracking of account reserves and forecasting annual expenses with a focus on long-range planning Requirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable roles Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing Knowledge and understanding of data entry procedures Ability to code invoices efficiently and accurately Demonstrated skills in Accounts Payable (AP) processes Familiarity with financial software such as AppFolio, Yardi, and QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel High level of integrity and trustworthiness Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
