Accounts Receivable Clerk

DescriptionOur client has an opportunity for you to join an excellent team of accounting professionals located in their San Francisco office. If you are a reliable, dedicated team player that understands the importance of fulfilling deadlines and has a great eye for detail we want to hear from you!As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for cash applications, account reconciliations, and maintaining internal file systems.-Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts to verify fund requests-Processing merchant charges.-Assists with bank reconciliations-Cash application-Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies-Utilizes computerized accounting software programs (TRAMS, Concur, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.-Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.-Organizes and maintains retention files for required period-Embody core values: Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Communication, Commitment and Delivering the UnexpectedIf you meet the requirements and believe you would be a good fit for the position then submit your resume to Brandon at Brandon.Nasburg@accountemps.com.RequirementsRequirements:-Possess an eye for detail and honed organizational skills-Must be comfortable speaking with vendors over the phone-Maintain poise and project positive attitude, with high energy and diplomacy in work strategies-Proven track record of impeccable research skills-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and Word-Ability to input, review for accuracy, and/or retrieve information from computer databases or spreadsheets-Must be able to independently think, and work in team environmentAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
