AFS DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a AFS Developer for a contract position in San Francisco, CA. Opportunity will be Nine Months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- First and foremost they must have experience with AFS Level III.
- More generally, we are looking for a journeyman level developer that can read and interpret business specifications/requirements and write new or modify existing Cobol code to meet specified outcomes.
- They would be engaged in analyzing and resolving software and data file issues, while bringing best practices and alternate approaches to the table.
- They must have experience in SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Senior AFS Developers to work on a major long term project with a great team.
- Support AFS III Automated Financial System.
- Assist users in analyzing business system requirements and enhancements.
- Create program specifications and documentation for Corporate and Commercial Loan Application project releases.
- Analyze, design, code, test, and document applications using COBOL and CICS programming languages.
- Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs and business processes.
- Develop unit and system test plans to verify
- Logic of new or modified programs.
- Design systems and programs to meet business needs.
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
- Create appropriate documentation in work assignments.
- Gather information from existing systems, analyze program and time requirements.
- Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provide business process recommendations to project managers.
- Support project personnel in resolving program problems.
- Work with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements.
- Provide technical advice on complex programming.
- Provide leadership and work guidance and conduct quality
- Provide consulting services in a technical and managerial capacity.
