Key Skills: Android Development, MVVM, Kotlin, Ideally look for 8-10 yrs of experience, Core Android, Google Pay. Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver cloud first voice enabled infotainment solution by implementing core components for the Android Automotive App.
- Lead technical team to use latest Android Framework and technologies including Jetpack, MVVM/MVI patterns with test driven Appliation development
- Be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Android Automotive Operating System including creating technical and architectural framework for Media, Productivity, Navigation Apps, Voice control and system internals
- Implement and customize Android automotive features according to OEM requirements and corporate product roadmap.
- Follow high quality software development process including unit test, code review, and integration test.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members with different geographic regions
- Prototype new automotive technologies with Telenav infotainment SDK
- 10+ years’ experience in software development in Android, specifically Android 10.
- Experience on Android Internals, Android Multimedia Framework, and Android Headless Devices.
- Experience modifying the standard Android HALs, creating new HALs, and building Android Automotive OS
- Experience developing on Qualcomm-Android-Linux-Multimedia Framework
- Experience with Android Automotive OS or .Car branches is useful
- Good problem solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills are required (verbal & written).
