It all begins with you.The Digital Strategy and Planning team is seeking an experienced leader to join the team as a Business Support Consultant 5, leading Self Assurance Activities (SAA) on behalf of Digital Channels. SAA will support improvement of our overall operational risk, and compliance, and this role includes supporting operational excellence and elevating and establishing process as one of Wells Fargo’s foundational dimensions along with people, technology, and data. In partnership with WFVC’s Business Assurance team, this position will lead the development of a strong self-assurance process, building out core competencies, and capabilities to drive towards continued improvement and increased value for all stakeholders. Partners closely with first line controls organization to ensure appropriate activities are in place to minimize risk and drive compliance.What you’ll be responsible for:

Develop, implement and manage SAA review team and functions to drive engagement awareness and compliance.

Provide the operating structure, management support and deep expertise needed to ensure that Digital Managers effectively meet requirements

Define and standardize all SAA procedures across Digital Channels to drive adherence to policy, guidelines and establish best practices, effectively managing enterprise risk.

Consistently monitor and engage with Process Owners and SMEs to identify and solve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Identify areas of opportunity to automate SAA functions, driving efficiency and minimizing risk

Establishes SAA metrics and reporting strategy to drive transparency and compliance to all policies and controls applicable to Wells Fargo Digital Channels

Coordinates with Virtual Channels Business Assurance team to ensure consistency

Provide guidance to FTE and managed resources, who will be responsible for supporting SAA on behalf of Digital Channels.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department

3+ years of financial services experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of Agile

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
