Work Location:San Francisco, CA Hybrid mode Job description:The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS computers, peripherals, iPads, and associated peripherals, including AV equipment.The Desktop Support Analyst will report to the Manager of IT Support and will work closely with other members of the technology department to support all end users.Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)o Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS computers, as well as iOS devices in a networked environmento Install and configure softwareo Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheralso Maintain and troubleshoot audio visual equipmento Document issue resolution using the help desk ticketing system, document knowledge base and other articles in SharePointo Maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources and parts-o Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the technology departmento Work with outside vendors as neededo This person will be also doing user educationo Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by the Manager of IT SupportQualificationsRequirementso Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical peopleo Ability to recognize, analyze and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedureso Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmento 2+ years setup, configuration, troubleshooting of hardware and software (Windows and Mac OS)o Experience working with O365, SharePoint and Office 2013o Some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.)o Some knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administrationo Someone who is comfortable working in front of executiveso Experience working with laptops – will be supporting at least 700 laptopso Experience with Avaya or similarAdditional InformationMac OS Experience required.
