Your Opportunity

The Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud (IO&C) organization provides technology solutions and support for Schwab employees, as well as supporting the external Schwab client experience. The Executive Technology Group (ETG) supports the Sr. Executives (EVP and above) at Charles Schwab. This group is responsible for the technology needs of the Executives and includes home/office support, desktop/laptop support, meeting support (audio/video conferencing support), mobile technologies and also the support of our Board of Directors (for multiple boards)

What you are good at

  • Providing general desktop support to Sr Executives
  • Establishing and maintaining a trusting relationship with Sr. Executives, Board Members, and staff
  • Working closely with other technical groups/participate in weekly team meetings
  • Serving as a liaison between the Executives and other technical support groups
  • Maintaining a sense of calm under stressful situations
  • Have a working knowledge of home networks and staying up to date on current technologies as it relates to the home/office environment.
  • Working independently. Receiving minimal guidance and direction and determining best approach to accomplish work.
  • Collaborating with Small Technical team supporting the Executive members
  • Managing a flexible work schedule (including after hours), and work environment

What you have

Technical/Functional Qualifications:

8+ years of recent technical support experience and leadership; graduate college degree or similar experience.

Advanced working knowledge of the following technologies in a corporate environment:
  • MS Windows 10 and macOS operating systems.
  • iOS/iPad/iPhone knowledge/support
  • Imaging and deployment methodologies
  • Cisco WebEx/Microsoft Teams experience
  • Diligent Platform
  • Networks/Routers/Aps
  • Video Conferencing tech

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Working with hardware break/fix service providers
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, work with a distributed group of peers on technology projects
