- Evaluate technical system problems and design and implement effective solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews
- Model engineering excellence and best practices
- Innovate through the use of new tools and techniques
- Build the best UI/UX interface with focus on usability features, creating compelling user interfaces and experiences
- Optimize performance for the applications & web
- Stay current on the latest industry trends in the mobile and digital technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science, Math, or related discipline
- 10+ years of overall work experience in technology
- Highly skilled in problem solving, analysis, object-oriented design, functional programming, etc.
- Experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage
- Experience defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solution
- Strong experience Python, Django, Angular, Graph DB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, MySQL, (Mongo), JSON
- Experience with server-side technologies such as NodeJS or Java
- Experience delivering applications to the cloud using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience NoSQL database models, XML, relational and other database models and associated SQL
- Knowledge of Applying Natural Language Processing (NLP), Named Entity Recognition, Machine Learning and general unstructured data analytics
- Knowledge of redwood frameworks is a plus
- JavaScript frameworks and stacks
- RESTful Web Service, API design, development and consumption
- Understanding of Microservice architecture & design patterns
- Experience with external partner integrations and security architecture
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
