Job Description
Role: IAM Analyst & Support Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 12+ MonthsThe Senior Access Management Analyst positions responsibility is to support the Identify and Access Management function, particularly as it pertains to the review and certification of end-user , privileged access & user lifecycle. Manages the enterprise processes for ensuring periodic end-user and privileged user access reviews, in accordance with Climate regulations and security policies. The role is also responsible for performing all user creations & terminations, weekly GAM reports and account management for Client’s employees who have access to Climate data. This role will also run quarterly audits on all applications and help identify and apply the Job Role Matrix.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):- Participate in the collection and analysis of existing business and technical requirements to develop Enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of risk and change management, security policies and controls, user account life-cycle management, roles based access, access management, and directory.
- Manage "End-user" access (application-level accounts) and "privileged access" (system/elevated-level accounts) given to individuals who are directly responsible for system management and/or systems security, and must have elevated or "special" permissions in order to perform their job function (most commonly IT resources)
- Run monthly GAM reports to remove unused Google license
- Perform all creations/terminations/transfers processes for user lifecycle
- Perform End-User and Privileged-User access within Active Directory, GSuite, Okta, GUMs, VMware, Atlassian and various Climate systems.
- Plan and coordinate efforts to execute quarterly and annual access review and application membership for audit remediation
- Contribute to the analysis of privileged access data provided by partnering teams
- Plan and coordinate efforts to begin executing quarterly and annual privileged access
- Identify opportunities to automate and partner with engineering teams to meet those needs
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) program structure and elements to include but not limited to: Provisioning and Access termination, application onboarding, single sign on, Identity Federation, privileged access management, multi-factor authentication, role-based access, Self-service user enablement, password management.
- Knowledge of general Information Security concepts, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of Identity Management tools and software.
- Knowledge Microsoft Windows, Mac and Mobile device (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, etc.) terminology and technology capabilities with respect to access, authentication, and authorization.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to create business documentation and cross train technical operational staff.
