New Journey AI is currently seeking an Instructional Content Creator/Technical Product Operations with our client. This is a 6 to 12 month contract position and a remote opportunity.

Description: The Content & Training team handles the creation and maintenance of documentation and training curriculum for our client's Technical Product Operations team, which is responsible for producing machine learning data, maps, and vehicle performance data. In the role of Instructional Content Creator, you will be developing instructional web-based content using a variety of written, visual, and video media for a global team of data annotators.

Responsibilities:

Quickly learn difficult technical concepts from multiple sources and then organize and structure that information into digestible, logical content for non-technical and ESL audiences
Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to help translate their knowledge into an effective learning experience for our data annotators
Assist with editing, proofreading, and providing feedback on written and visual communication for your teammates' projects
Design learning solutions that maximize learning efficiency for ESL audiences
Work collaboratively with the Content & Training team to define strategy and outcomes for all projects
Establish robust feedback loops with subject matter experts and data annotators to continuously improve learning material content and delivery mechanisms
Design, baseline, develop tracking mechanisms for, and report on key metrics that highlight the effectiveness of learning materials; drive continuous improvement in metrics
Always adhere to high quality standards

Requirements:

BA/BS or 1-2 years of relevant experience
Able to quickly learn difficult or technical concepts
Experience authoring content for ESL audiences
Proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets) or MS Office
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Techsmith Snagit, and Atlassian Confluence or similar software solutions
Comfortable in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment; able to juggle multiple assignments and quickly adjust priorities while meeting quality standards and deadlines
Has an experimental mindset that allows for innovation & iteration and compliments our low-ego culture
Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information to the right audience
Ability to interpret learning needs and effectively negotiate a plan and delivery schedule

Not required but preferred:

Experience designing online, classroom, and blended training using adult learning methodologies
Experience with remote learning/webinar facilitation
Expertise in using web-authoring tools and course design software, such as Adobe Captivate
