- The mission of the IT Emergency Management team is to assist our client business partners in providing safe, reliable, and affordable services through a program that encompasses Emergency Preparedness & Response, Business Impact Analysis, and Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing for Critical IT services and applications.
- The IT Solution Engineer provides technical leadership in design, development and implementation of IT solution deliverables.
- Provides technical direction to determine technical and operational feasibility of solutions that are aligned with Disaster Recovery requirements and standards.
- Provides consulting, coordination and oversight to all IT and Cybersecurity organizations regarding Disaster Recovery (DR) of critical computing and network infrastructure and applications.
- The successful candidate must have a solid working knowledge of data center computing and network environments, an understanding of system resiliency in applications (business and technical), and experience with site-to-site DR design and testing.
- Also provides IT Solution Engineering technical leadership to ensure that design, development, and testing activities conform to the strategic and tactical direction for individual initiatives.

- The successful candidate should have demonstrated knowledge of and experience with disaster recovery.
- They should be self-directed and comfortable working in a fluid and sometimes stressful environment.
- They should have experience working with various levels of the organization and across various lines of business both within and outside of IT.
- Networking.
- Load Balancers.
- Database resiliency models between data centers.
- Cloud (basic understanding AWS terminology).
- Virtualization and Containers.
- Security (Basic understanding of what a firewall and ACLs are).
- Storage (Storage types and replication).
- Capable of working with project managers (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall teams).
