Role- Java L2 Support Location- SFO, CA (Remote) Job Description
- 8+ years of experience of which 5+ years of experience in supporting eCommerce applications/ Retail applications
- Proficient in Java / J2EE technologies and related frameworks
- Should have L2 support experience in working in any OMS and Retail systems
- Understanding of Microservices
- Understanding of AWS cloud
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Acknowledging the issues reporting in different channels
- Identify the priority of issues reported by understanding the business and technical impact
- Debug the issues in production, reproducing the same in lower environments
- Provide work arounds to resolve the issues. If there is no work around identified, involve the right development team for solution
- Completely own the issues, involve right stakeholders and drive to resolution
- Document the issues in Jira and also the frequency of occurrence
- Add/Edit Runbook periodically
- Create reports and present to right stakeholders
- For P1 and P2 issues, open bridge, co-ordinate by involving right stakeholders
- He/She should be responsible for setting up promotions
- Take part in Knowledge Sharing sessions from Development teams
- Take part in discussions with Development & Operations teams on system improvement and stability of the components
