MarTech Architect San Francisco, CA W2 Contract This position is responsible for setting key strategic architecture direction and actionable roadmap for technology solutions working closely with other domain architects, the marketing business partners, CIO, and Application managers.
- Collaborate and Partner with the Marketing teams in defining and documenting the use cases, translating the marketing strategy, business capabilities into technical strategy, capabilities, and architecture.
- Create target state architecture, capability maturity roadmap, and transition state architectures.
- Engage with leadership to understand business strategy, articulate solution options, evaluate tradeoffs and influence key decisions.
- Work with Marketing Technology Strategy Leader to maintain a Portfolio view of Marketing Technology architecture and roadmap.
- Responsible for working on medium to high architectural impact projects to create solutions Architecture, reviewing and approving medium architectural impact designs, communicating the Architecture strategy and direction to both management and development teams, line of business and infrastructure, and directing the implementation of the architecture for Marketing Technology
- Responsible for communicating the portfolio architecture strategy to other solution architects and providing guidance in developing the solution architecture.
- Review and approve the solution architecture for specific project/capability areas by making sure the solution architecture aligns with the overall portfolio-architecture strategy and guidelines.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on MarTech topics and explore/research emerging marketing technologies and trends.
- 10+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architecture
- 10 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
- 7+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
- 5+ years of experience in architecting and strategizing the digital marketing technology solutions
