Mobile Automation Engineer with one of its financial clients for a long term contract role.

Mobile Automation Engineer

San Francisco, CA - remote for now but will need to relocate to bay area post covid.24 Months ContractW2 Only – Can only work with Citizen/EAD candidatesCant work with C2C or OPT/CPT candidates

Additional Skills:
  • 7+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application automation testing experience on web-based applications.
  • Experience in designing and creating automation frameworks for J2EE based applications using Java, JUnit/JMeter, TestNG, Selenium RC/WebDriver/IDE/Grid, ANT/Maven and Jenkins.
  • Hands on experience using Selenium WebDriver API to automate tests on cross browser and cross platform environment
  • Experience in Automation tools like Selenium, load and performance testing tool JMeter.
  • Experience in using build tools like Gradle, Maven.
  • Experience with Mobile Automation Tools and Appium automation framework.
  • Extensive experience on Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle and methodologies including Agile.
  • Hands on experience in Tracking and Reporting of defects using Defect Tracking Tools such as HP QC/ALM, Bugzilla and Jira.
  • Experience with Responsive UI Testing and Knowledge of different breakpoints.
  • Device testing experience on both Apple and Android devices (phones/tablets/iPad/iPhone).
  • Experience with WCAG 2.0/2.1 Accessibility Testing using screen readers and toolbars, including:
  • JAWS
  • NVDA
  • VoiceOver on Mac and iOS devices (iPad/iPhone)
  • TalkBack on Android devices (Phones/Tablets)
  • Web Accessibility Toolbar (WAT)
  • Web Accessibility Evaluation toolbar (WAVE)
  • Web Developer Tool bar (WDT)
  • ZoomText and other magnifiers
  • Familiarity with Virtual Machine, Chrome Dev Tool, Firebug, FirePath
  • Experience with Automated scanning tools like FireEyes/aXe, Deque World Space and Accessibility Management Platform
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS and Web content management systems.
  • Interact with functional & accessibility teams, interaction designers, developers and specialists to further improve information architecture, site navigation, labels, and other design elements.
MS and BS/BA degree in Computer Science and/or related discipline
