job summary:
Your research insights, design concepts and leadership will guide the patient experience from identifying core needs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams of technologists, physicians, and patients, to refining pixel-perfect designs with our engineering team. Your work will span patient access (referrals, scheduling etc.) and care delivery (acute virtual care, inpatient/perioperative care, remote disease management) touchpoints. location: SAN FRANCISCO, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $47 - 58 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:- User research & service design: You'll meet with patients, back-office support, and physicians remotely and in-person to capture pain points, translate them into opportunities, and prioritize user needs.
- UX: Healthcare systems and Electronic Health Record software are notoriously complex. You'll steep yourself in existing systems, create a vision for where the UX could go, and balance patient and business needs to arrive at the best near-term UX solutions.
- UI: You'll leverage the existing design language as well as help create new design interactions.
- Design communication & design champion: You'll collaborate with the product and engineering teams to take the team from feature kickoff to pixels on screens. You'll bring people along in the product design journey discussing design progress and decisions with business stakeholders and end-users
