  • As a Product Manager for Customer Data Privacy, you will help deliver the product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and engineering teams to identify and drive forward new capabilities to ensure that Client is compliant with privacy regulations.
What You'll Do:
  • Helping to ensure that company data practices comply with privacy regulations
  • Managing the process for responding to customer requests to access or delete their personal information
  • Working with key business partners such as legal and engineering to drive better processes and automation
  • This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with key parts of data privacy laws such as EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
  • This role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks needed to support the CCPA scrum team (addressing production issues, seeing issues through to resolution).
  • This role will be leading the testing efforts needed to roll out new features and functionalities to support CCPA.
  • Translate user requirements into functional stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate detailed acceptance criteria to technical team. Review work of QA engineers with end users; manage user acceptance process
  • Ensure Data quality, accuracy and security thresholds are in place that enable the platform to be scalable, resilient and reliable; Ensure performance through robust data processing capabilities through testing, alerting and monitoring
  • Conducts analysis to measure the results of feature deployments to quantify the business benefit/impact, and identify further business opportunities.
  • Connects daily with PdM lead to understand current priorities
  • Partners with Techincal Program Manager (TPM) to document timelines and provide status on milestone progress
  • Maintain prioritized backlog in Jira; champion, develop and communicate release plans to business partners and/or provide materials for product managers to do so
  • Develop user documentation, training, and publish knowledge base articles in Jive to ensure that user adoption is sustained over the long term use of the tool
Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of experience with 2-3 years in Product Management in a technology environment.
  • Critical thinker who can anticipate roadblocks and proactively solve problems in partnership with stakeholders, cross-functional teams and vendor partners
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills with an attention to details
  • Worked in an Agile environment where candidate is responsible for the creation and managing of stories and jira board.
  • Ability to work independently; able to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; self-starter and quick learner; calm and efficient under pressure
  • Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, and is willing to experiment to find solutions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirement
