Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.Summary: Facebook seeks a product strategist and marketer who is knowledgeable and passionate about digital advertising, e-commerce, and launching products that help businesses drive sales and help people discover products and services they love. This role will drive the next set of solutions for Facebook’s e-commerce and retail advertising clients and focus on identifying key market needs and setting the strategies that unlock those opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with and strong opinions on e-commerce advertising (including direct-to-consumer brands), with a deep understanding of industry competitive landscape, business models and advertising behaviors. He/she must exhibit excellent problem solving, analytical, communication, and product positioning skills and thrive in ambiguous environments. She or he must excel as a leader of cross-functional teams and have a track record of growing e-commerce advertising or other digital businesses. This position requires a close partnership with Product, Engineering and Sales leadership and a track record of developing product strategy, executing global launches, and driving impact across teams.Required Skills: Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the voice of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering teams

Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market

Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to plan and execute product roadmap

Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive successful product alpha and beta programs and launches for businesses, globally

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop strategic product feedback and positioning

Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, policy, launch strategy, PR. Partner effectively with Product Management and outbound marketing to lead world-class product marketing communications for new business products

Communicate the value proposition of new products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that effective sales support materials and packages are created

Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting market-facing programs and effective product launch support

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree

6+ years professional experience working in eCommerce advertising or marketing

Quantitative analytical experience

Experience with ads buying for a digital native e-commerce company, and/or product development for e-commerce advertising

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, partnering with product teams to identify new product opportunities, and developing and executing global launch plans to bring products to market

Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years professional experience

Experience in strategy consulting

Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, economics, finance, statistics or another analytical/quantitative field
