- Focus on 'connecting the dots' across the various L2s and L1s
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies
- Care for governance routines & evidence
- Drive cross-team communication
- Ensure viability of a full end-to end plan, assess, call out gaps, lead effort to close them (both the technical AND the non-technical)
- Procure resources when needed
- Help clear impediments
- Drive escalations as necessary
- Coaching & guidance re: product delivery, agile adoption, etc
- Product team members need to:
- knowing and understanding the direction of his/her product or sub-product
- 'hands on' the keyboard in writing epics and features leveraging the L3/L2 Business Analyst for direction and guidance
- Ensuring any changes to the roadmap are communicated to those with a need to know so that impact can be addressed
- scheduling their own meetings & leading (setting clear agenda, ensuring the right people are in attendance, keeping the meeting on track, ensuring the meeting objective is met prior to closing.)
- taking their own meeting minutes, capturing action items & ensuring owners and dates are captured
- holding people accountable to complete action items by agreed up on dates
- actively conveying impediments, risks, dependencies to the delivery coordinators as they arise
- Scrum Master(s)
- Manage the scrum team (help them self organize, protect them from distractions, help drive understanding of the backlog, etc)
- Remove impediments
- Ensure backlog is built out
- Drive development of the sprint by sprint plan & collaborate with Delivery Coordinator to ensure it syncs with the overall plan
- Help drive out dependencies
- Collaborate with other scrum masters that are working on dependencies
- Update Confluence & Jira as needed
