RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking a Remote Full Stack Node/Javascript Backend Engineer for their client located in San Francisco, CA.
Summary:The Remote Full Stack Node/Javascript Backend Engineer will use their breadth of experience and collaborative approach to help the team complete ambitious projects together. The customers depend on the software for efficient operational control of business-critical deliveries, so adding an enthusiastic technical generalist to the team will directly impact the future of the product.What You'll Do: Within the first two weeks: You will understand the product In the first month: You will understand how the feature development process works In the second month: You will take ownership of features and see them through to production and beyond By the sixth month: You will have engaged with and initiated projects that improve development efficiency by reducing technical debt and encouraging best practices Possible project focus areas are: Collaborative prototyping and end-to-end feature development based on customer and strategic needs, integrations with related solution providers, and increasing testabilityREQUIREMENTS: 4+ years of full stack backend development experience Significant, practical software engineering experience building scalable applications that are easy to support and extend Proficiency with technologies like CoffeeScript and Node, JavaScript. Angular/React/Typescript is a plus Strong experience with APIs and integrations Proficiency with fundamental frontend development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Sound judgment, relevant data, and an open mind to help you and the team navigate together when the way forward isn't clear Empathy for our user's experience and a sense of craftsmanship to help guide our product and engineering focus Microservices, CI/CD, automation, deployment, unit tests are a plus Experience with multiple frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React Appreciation for security by designKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
